Page F is for Freedom, another finished illustration for my current children’s book project entitled “Canada, Our Road to Democracy.” This piece illustrates the idea that Canadians have rights to Freedom including equality rights, meaning that everyone is equal before and under the law, irrespective of their race, religion, ethnic origin, sex, age or mental or physical disability. Cool.
Another page in the current children’s book I’m working on about Canada’s Democracy. This page is E is for Election. Pretty self explanatory. I’m pretty pleased with the way the lighting and the focal depth turned out.
Page D is for democracy is a children’s book about Canada’s democracy for Blossom Books. I’m mostly happy with this piece, but it does need a little bit of colour tweaking I think. What do you think?
Final revisions added to page B is for Bilingualism. Images show working progress.
The top image is the revision for this page. If you look closely the changes are subtle, but you’ll notice that the audience is blurred and the ground shadows of the characters are softened. Much better. The blurred background really helps the characters to stand out. This is the last page spread in the book I’m working on about Canada’s democracy for publisher Blossom Books.
5 stages, (so far) of Page C is for Confederation in a book about Canada’s democracy for new publisher Blossom Books.
Page B is for Bilingualism in Children’s Book #1 about Canada’s democracy. Realized I’ll have to add the proper hyphen and accent thingy under the c in francais.
Page A for children’s book #1 about Canada’s democracy. A is for Aboriginal Peoples.
A two page spread for the first children’s book i’m working on about Canada’s Democracy. This one works for both books. In book one it’s Page Z is for Zeal and for book #2 it is the cover, in which the characters are rearranged.
